With what seemed like category 2 hurricane force winds we all braved the elements and actually had a pretty good day at the park. That is however with the exception of the Heygi tent which got pulled right out of the ground by the wind and ended up with a broken strut as well as a bent leg. Bob and Colleen (yes even Haze !!!) are welcome in our tent any time. It was great watching the freestyle pros deal with the wind and saw many a routine move turned into a challenge and after the first round we all knew we would have to up our game. I chose the wrong path as I had decided to hold back and get some completions rather than unloading and attempting to gain as many points as possible and this proved to be an extremely costly mistake as I was unable to catch Tracy Farmer and Rusty who ended up capturing the gold for todays second Canis Major event of the season. On a surprise note Julie is actually second overall for Canis Major points for the season, and to think she didn't even want to throw this year for fear of not doing well !!!! Kudos Julie !
