May 10th proved to be a fantastic day of competition and camaraderie amongst fellow disc dog lovers. The sun was shining and it was a scorching central Florida day in Lakeland for the 2008 Skyhoundz Southeast regional cometition and there were a lot of dogs and handlers trying to get their hands on the 8 coveted qualifying positions to go to the WORLD Championships this fall. Suffice to say World class competition showed up and everyone gave it their best. First amd foremost Team-Bandit.com would like to congratulate EVERYONE for participating and making it an action packed day. Last night we completed basic obedience through Anne Lippert's training classes. We are pleased to announce we attended every class and loved getting to know ALL the other dogs (and thier owners) during the last seven weeks. Anne and her classes have been instrumental in giving Team-Bandit thier building blocks for which to begin thier more advanced training. Even before completing the classes we are seeing fantastic results and able to handle more advanced routines at a much quicker pace. In addition communication and eye contact between Bandit and Chris could not better. Team-Bandit would like to thank Anne for giving us the tools we needed to be able to train efffectively and have a better dog/handler relationship.
